My
name is Alex Mistretta and I am a Cryptozoologist, and a UFO and
Paranormal Investigator. After I graduated from the University of
Illinois/Chicago with a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology and a
Bachelor of Science in Psychology I joined MUFON and became the Los
Angeles MUFON Director of Investigation for about 13 years.
During
that time both for MUFON L.A and on my own, I investigated everything
from a landing case with occupants to underwater UFOs cases, to cases
involving Men in Black and at the end of my tenure with MUFON, I also
had joined Star Team. As a UFO investigator I also specialize in
international cases with a big interest in Latin America, Siberia, among
other foreign locations in the future.
I
also spent years investigating Paranormal phenomena, from haunted cases
to Poltergeist cases while working with Dr Barry Taff. I specialize in
outdoor locations with a particular interest in places like Chernobyl,
Hoia Baciu and Cannock Chase among several locations I would like to
investigate in the future. I am also heavily interested in the idea of
using tools like eDNA, environmental DNA, in paranormal cases, and
replacing EVPs with a visual version where instead of hearing the
paranormal we can see it.
My big passion is
Cryptozoology, especially Bigfoot as a global phenomenon with a heavy
emphasis on Mongolia, Russia and Africa. I am in the process of planning
an expedition now in Kenya looking for their more human Bigfoot called
X. I am also planning a trip to the French Pyrenees next year to
research their version of the yeti. Hopefully more local Bigfoot
expeditions in the future as well. My biggest goal remains an expedition
into southern Cameroon looking for Mokele-mbembe, amomng several
undiscovered animals that may live there.
I
also wrote a couple of papers for an Independent Study while in college
on Haitian Zombis. I am the author of "The Presence: an Exploration into
the Paranormal", with several more books in the works. I've been
featured on several television shows including UFO files, Alien Hunter,
Don't call me Bigfoot, both here in the United States and shows in
Russia and Hong Kong.
